IBS Classical has earned international recognition and multiple awards, including the 2023 International Classical Music Award (ICMA), four Grammy nominations for Best Classical Album Haydn Piano Sonatas by Josu De Solaun, and the Spanish Academy of Music Awards for Best Classical Album in 2024 for Falla Corregidor & Sombrero (Filarmonic Orchestra of Málaga) and and 2025 for Lorquiana (Ana Valderrama & David Kadoush). Its productions have also received Gramophone Editors’ Choice, Classica France Editor’s Choice, 15 Melómano de Oro Awards, 10 “Exceptional” distinctions from Scherzo, and 15 High Parade recognitions from Ritmo. The label’s recordings have been honored as Disc of the Year by Fanfarre Magazine (USA), WholeNote Canada Choice, and Platea Magazine Disc of the Year, among others.
Gramophone selected IBS Classical’s Goldberg Variations among the five best modern recordings of Bach’s masterpiece, and also listed José Menor’s Goyescas among the best albums of the year. Other releases—such as Danzas en todos los tiempos (Latin Grammy nominee, 2016), Goyescas (Grammy nominee, 2018), and América (Grammy nominee, 2019)—have further consolidated IBS Classical’s international reputation.
