Mr. Fernández Aguirre was born in Bilbao. He takes Correpetition studies in Vienna with David Lutz and in Munich with Donald Sulzen. Gets the advices of Félix Lavilla, Miguel Zanetti and Wolfram Rieger.  Habitual pianist of prestigious singers as C. Álvarez, A. Arteta, M. Bayo, G. Bermúdez, M. Cantarero, E. de la Merced, N. F. Herrera, I. Jordi, J. A. López, D. Menéndez, J. L. Sola etc…

He also collaborates with C. Albelo, Y. Auyanet, M. Custer, M. Devia, C. Gallardo-Domâs, E. Gutiérrez, M. Martí, M. J. Montiel, I. Rey, C. Robertson, O. Sala, A. M. Sánchez, L. Vaduva and J. M. Zapata among other singers at all stages in Spain and at important Theaters in Europe (Vienna´s Musikverein, Brusselx, La Monnaie Theater, Pesaro’s Rossini Opera Festival, Bratislava´s Slovenskà Televizia), America (New York’s Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall, Montevideo´s Teatro Solís), Middle East (Damascus), and Africa (Algiers). Accompanist in Courses and Master Classes for prestigious singers, singing-teachers, and stage managers such as J.Aragall, T. Berganza, I.Cotrubas, A. L. Chova, B. de Simone, S. Estes, E. Sagi, R. Scotto, E. Viana etc… Official pianist at the “Operalia 2006” competition (chaired by Plácido Domingo) collaborating as resident coach at Valencia’s Palau de la Música, at Madrid’s Teatro Real, and Sevilla’s Teatro de la Maestranza. He receives the prize “Opera Actual 2010” awarded by the prestigious music magazine as Best Young Performer (first time to a pianist devoted to singers).
