A successful debut at New York’s Carnegie Hall in 2008 boosted his international career with recitals in Seoul, Strasburg, Atlanta, Oslo, London and Naples among others. Since first performing with the Navarre Symphony Orchestra in 1999, Urroz has been sought by important cultural institutions such as the Santander and Peralada International Festivals, the Juan March Foundation, the Las Canals and Hyères Festivals in France, the Iberian Foundation for Spanish Music, Georgia State University, the German Embassy in Madrid, the Italian Culture Institute in Madrid and Strasburg, etc. He has played in such Spanish halls as the National Auditorium, the Royal San Fernando Fine Arts Academy, the Conde Duque Cultural Centre, the Gayarre Theatre and the Baluarte Auditorium, and internationally for example at Elebash Recital Hall (NY), Salle du Munsterhof (Strasburg), Bolivar Hall (London), the Sejong Center (Seoul), Kopleff Recital Hall (Atlanta), Villa Floridiana (Naples), the Oslo Music Academy. Urroz collaborates frequently with artists of international renown in chamber music, Lied and dance. Founder and, since 2004, artistic director of the Mendigorría International Music Festival, he also produces and creates successful multidisciplinary spectacles taking in music, art and dance. A recognised teacher and head of the piano department at the Arturo Soria Conservatory in Madrid, Urroz has been guest lecturer at various Spanish festivals and at Seoul and Atlanta Universities. He is a founder member and Secretary of the delegation in Spain of EPTA, the London-based European Piano Teachers Association.
